When do I need to arrive?

Your session begins 20 mins prior to your booked time.

 

**example 12:00 noon booking, you are required to arrive 11:40am**

 

This allows us to check you in.

Ready for the safety briefing which will take place 15mins prior to booked session time.

 

Lateness will result in no climbing with no refund given.

What will happen if I am late?

Lateness will result in loss of your booking! We really don’t want this to happen so please arrive promptly 20mins before your booked time.

Where are you located?

We are on the first floor of the Dolphin Square complex =, next-door to Cineworld and Anytime Fitness

 

 

What should I wear?

Please wear comfortable clothing and trainers. It is preferable for midriffs to be covered to prevent harnesses rubbing.

Open toed shoes, boots, Crocs, sandals or high-heeled shoes as well as  Long hair must be tied back and all loose jewellery, hats or hooded tops must be removed prior to climbing for safety reasons. are not permitted in the climbing arena and your booking may be void.

Are you offering sanitisation stations?

There is sanitiser available throughout your climb/visit.

How many people will be in the arena at a time?

There will be a maximum of 25 climbers in the arena at any time this does not include non climbers. You will stay with the same group for the duration of your climb.

Spectators can enjoy encouraging from the ground! We insist on adult supervision at all times.

Is Clip 'n Climb only for children?

Absolutely not! Our sessions are accessible for children from 4 and above with no upper age limit and our belay system holds up to 22 stone, so adults can climb at any time.

For ages 2.5years to 4years please locate our Early Bird sessions, these are designated sessions for the younger climbers and are also SEND inclusive. 

Please note all climbers must be assisted in the arena at all times during these sessions.

 

 

 

Can I cancel or amend bookings?

We operate a 48 hour cancellation policy; if you know you are unable to attend your booked slot prior to this time frame, then we are able to offer a refund or try and rearrange your session date and time subject to availability amendments can only be made once.

*Refunds can take up to 14days to process

I have no previous climbing experience, is Clip 'n Climb for me?

Clip ‘n Climb is designed to be fun for EVERYONE regardless of ability! The difficulty of our challenges vary so there’s something for everyone to have a go at, from beginners to experts. Our staff will also be there to assist with those less confident.

How long do Clip 'n Climb sessions last?

Sessions are 55 minutes long including watching our safety video to make sure you can have a great experience!

You’re required to be here 20 minutes before your session to check in and get harnessed.

Do I need to bring any equipment with me?

No, All equipment is provided by us. We can not permit the use of climbing chalk OR own harnesses on the Arena.

Please bring minimal items as we do not have lockers.

Do you have wheelchair access?

Yes, we have a lift in main lobby of the building.

Do you have lockers?

No lockers on site, we advise minimal items be brought with you.

Do I need to stay with my child if they're not climbing?

If your child (4-16yo) is climbing then a guardian (over the age of 18) needs to be in the Centre at the same time. We have extra staff on hand to assist any climbers that may need extra help.

Our Steeple Heights Café over looks the arena so you can grab yourself a drink.

17 year olds CANNOT be responsible for under 18s

 

All bookings must be made by an over 18.

Do you have facilities for babies?

Yes, we have a baby changing facilities in our toilets. In our Café area we have high chairs that are available for you to use.

There is also a lift in the main lobby so that you can bring pushchairs upstairs.

Can I bring my own food and drink into the Centre?

Unfortunately not. All food and drink must be purchased from our Steeple Heights Café. You can bring water bottles to use in the arena (containing strictly water) or purchase one of our Clip ‘n Climb water bottles on site.

You may incur an onsite fee should you bring your own food/drinks onsite

Do I have to be with my child at all times?

Age 4-16 must have an adult present in the venue at all times.

Age 17+ can climb alone but cannot be responsible for under 17s.

*Climbers ang 2&3 must have a non climbing adult with them on the climbing arena at all times.

Early Bird sessions mandatory assistance is required by non climbers at all times.

 

Do you need to pay to spectate?

No!

There is no fee for spectators

What do I do if I lose something in the centre?

We keep all lost property for up to 28 days.
