Absolutely not! Our sessions are accessible for children from 4 and above with no upper age limit and our belay system holds up to 22 stone, so adults can climb at any time.
We also offer Family Sessions which are open for children from the age of 2 – you can find more information on our Family Session section on the Home Page.
For standard climbing bookings you can cancel or amend your booking up to 48hrs in advance of your booking date.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds if less notice is given.

Clip ‘n Climb is designed to be fun for EVERYONE regardless of ability! The difficulty of our challenges vary so there’s something for everyone to have a go at, from beginners to experts. Our staff will also be there to assist with those less confident.
Sessions are 80 minutes in total. They comprise of a 20 minute safety briefing and harness fitting, followed by 60 minutes in the arena.
Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your session so we can ensure you are signed in, harnessed up and ready for briefing.
Please wear comfortable clothing and trainers. It is preferable for midriffs to be covered to prevent harnesses rubbing.
Open toed shoes, boots or high-heeled shoes are not permitted in the climbing arena.
Long hair must be tied back and all loose jewellery, hats or hooded tops must be removed prior to climbing for safety reasons.
No, equipment is provided by us and there are no additional hire fees for this.
Yes, we have a lift in main lobby of the building.
Yes, we have small lockers available at reception that are free to use. They are big enough for coats or a small bag.
Indeed we do! We have Clip ‘n Climb Weston-super-Mare t-shirts and water bottles for sale on site!
If your child is climbing then a guardian (over the age of 17) needs to be in the Centre at the same time. With younger children, we recommend you support them initially to make sure they are comfortable climbing and clipping in, however our Instructors will also be on hand to support them.
Our Steeple Heights Café over looks the arena so you can grab yourself a drink and a bite to eat whilst keeping an eye on your child.
Yes, we have a baby changing facilities in our toilets. In our Café area we have high chairs that are available for you to use.
There is also a lift in the main lobby so that you can bring pushchairs upstairs.
Unfortunately not (with the exception of birthday cakes). All food and drink must be purchased from our Steeple Heights Café.
