‘Good to Go’ is the industry standard for confirming that we have measures in place to ensure that we are complying with Covid Secure guidelines.

We’ve got a QR code on site that you can scan when you arrive at the Centre. It will take you to a website for you to log your details which we will store for 21 days following the Government’s Track and Trace policy.
Failure to comply will result in being denied access to the Centre.
Face coverings must be worn in all parts of the Centre other than in the Café when eating or drinking or when climbing.
We ask climbers over the age of 12 to wear face coverings during the brief and harnessing. Our instructors will be wearing face shields.
Upon entering the Centre, you will be asked to sanitise your hands as well as standing on a shoe sanitising mat. Before and after leaving the arena, you will be asked to sanitise your hands once again. There will also be sanitiser available throughout your climb. Failure to adhere to this will result in not being allowed access to the Centre.
There will be a maximum of 19 climbers in the arena at any time (unless you book a private session for your social bubble). You will stay with the same group for the duration of your climb.
Please keep the number of Spectators to a minimum and they will be allocated a table upon arrival. Spectators will be asked to remain in the Café for the session to enjoy the services that Steeple Heights Café have to offer.

Absolutely not! Our sessions are accessible for children from 4 and above with no upper age limit and our belay system holds up to 22 stone, so adults can climb at any time. Children aged 4 & 5 must have a climbing adult with them to assist with clipping on.
We operate a 48 hour cancellation policy; if you know you are unable to attend your booked slot prior to this time frame, then we are able to offer a refund or try and rearrange your session date and time subject to availability.

Clip ‘n Climb is designed to be fun for EVERYONE regardless of ability! The difficulty of our challenges vary so there’s something for everyone to have a go at, from beginners to experts. Our staff will also be there to assist with those less confident.
Sessions are 1 hour long including watching our safety video to make sure you can have a great experience!
You’re required to be here no more than 10 minutes before your session to check in and get harnessed.
Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your session so we can ensure that you are kept safe on site, are signed in, harnessed up and ready for briefing.
Please wear comfortable clothing and trainers. It is preferable for midriffs to be covered to prevent harnesses rubbing.
Open toed shoes, boots or high-heeled shoes are not permitted in the climbing arena.
Long hair must be tied back and all loose jewellery, hats or hooded tops must be removed prior to climbing for safety reasons.
No, equipment is provided by us and there are no additional hire fees for this.
Yes, we have a lift in main lobby of the building.
Due to our Covid Secure procedures, we are unable to offer a locker service at this time. However each booking party will be allocated a table which means you can leave your belongings there. We would advise to bring as little in to the Centre as possible to minimise contamination.
Indeed we do! We have Clip ‘n Climb Weston-super-Mare t-shirts and water bottles for sale on site!
If your child is climbing then a guardian (over the age of 17) needs to be in the Centre at the same time. With younger children, we recommend you support them initially to make sure they are comfortable climbing and clipping in, however our Instructors will also be on hand to support them.
Our Steeple Heights Café over looks the arena so you can grab yourself a drink and a bite to eat whilst keeping an eye on your child.
Yes, we have a baby changing facilities in our toilets. In our Café area we have high chairs that are available for you to use.
There is also a lift in the main lobby so that you can bring pushchairs upstairs.
Unfortunately not. All food and drink must be purchased from our Steeple Heights Café. You can bring water bottles to use in the arena (containing strictly water) or purchase one of our Clip ‘n Climb water bottles on site.
